Sending and receiving crypto just got easier | by Amadeo Pellicce | @blockchain | Mar, 2022

Last year we announced our partnership with Unstoppable Domains and the ability for Wallet users to send crypto to easy-to-remember domains like john.crypto instead of complicated addresses like bc1qw508d6qejxtdg4y5r3zarvary0c5xw7kv8f3t4.

Today, we’re excited to expand on our partnership with two announcements.

You can now send crypto to all Unstoppable Domains

Starting today, the Wallet supports all of Unstoppable Domains’ top level domain endings.

In addition to the original .crypto and .zil domains, you can now send crypto to .x, .nft, .wallet, .coin, .bitcoin, .dao, and .888 domains using your Wallet.

Sending crypto has never been easier. Learn how to send crypto to a domain here.

Coming soon: .blockchain domains

Unstoppable Domains will soon be introducing .blockchain domains and making them exclusively available to Wallet users for a limited time.

Users will also be able to associate their .blockchain domain with their Wallet to simplify receiving crypto.

More to come on this soon. In the meantime, be sure to sign up for a Wallet if you don’t have one already.

Making crypto payments as easy as sending an email

It’s our mission to make crypto easier to use and more accessible for all. Our partnership with Unstoppable Domains is an exciting step in this direction.

By replacing complicated addresses with human readable domains, you can now send and receive crypto as easily as sending an email.
