People will now be able to buy in XRP tokens using fiat through their bank cards, as onXRP integrates Banxa fiat on-ramp solution into its ecosystem.
In a recent development one of the largest apps built on XRP Ledger, onXRP, has announced integration of Banxa fiat on-ramp solution into its ecosystem. Through the integration people are enabled to purchase XRPs using bank cards or apple pay.
The feature is available around the world except in New York, Hawaii, and Canada. onXRP tweeted:
“Global and USA citizens (apart from NY and Hawaii) can buy #XRP easily now using Creditcard and ApplePay.”
onXRP cited regulations as the reason behind the unavailability of the service in Canada, as it noted that providing features to US citizens was onXRP’s most important aim.
It is to be noted that people could only buy XRP tokens using fiat as onXRP has not said anything relating to the purchase of other onXRP tokens I.e. OXP or OVX. However, OXP or OVX can be bought using XRP.
The onXRP app still seems in the development stage as it currently has sections like Swap, which is not working yet. The speed at which development takes place of XRPL apps, the feature is expected to be available in near future.
Moreover, Ripple’s native ‘XRP’ is currently at $0.34 as the coin is down 1.2% in the past 24-hours and up 4% over the week. Sighting a recent development in SEC-Ripple lawsuit, and Bitcoin’s break above $22k, it seems like XRP may take a significant upwards leap.
I think Judge Netburn will rule on the Hinman emails this week mainly because motions to strike expert witnesses are due next week Tuesday.
Speaking of which, looking forward to Ripple’s motion to strike the expert report of Mr. Doody. It should be a Doozy! https://t.co/AakQggD7nC

It is to be reminded that while Ripple is currently facing a SEC lawsuit, it is the defendant who is in the lead. The SEC is pushed to the corner because of Ripple’s aggressive defence.
