VIPERA is all about fixing the cannabis payments problem here in the U.S.

Currently, due to federal scheduling, payments processing companies won’t work with cannabis retailers to provide payments solutions. Our partner even had trouble getting payment processors to process their cannabis seed sales.

That’s where VIPERA comes in.

Utilizing the BASE chain, VIPERA is currently partnered with and being used to process payments for these companies.

The payment process is very simple.

The customer simply searches for VIPERA in their BASE wallet, purchases it with their credit or debit card and then exchanges VIPERA for their product by sending payment to the retailer.

The retailer then can immediately exchange their VIPERA for USDC collecting on their sale. When VIPERA is sold for USDC the retailer then must buy back 1-3% of each sale. It’s essentially the fee they pay for using VIPERA. They send these tokens back to VIPERA. 1% of these tokens are held in treasury and 2% are sent to liquidity. Retailers can also choose to stake their coins after they receive them by sending them to a time-locked wallet. They still have to pay 3% of every sale they make.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Why VIPERA? Why would the retailer not just use USDC? VIPERA provides incentives for your retailers to use our system. VIPERA targets these companies knowing that they have these issues and want a solution, and VIPERA is knowledgeable about the issues it aims to solve.
