There’s been lots of developments in the web3 space and it’s really fascinating to see so much work go into that niche of the web, given clearly web3 is the future of the internet. And a lot of those developments have included making onboarding of users a lot simpler for regular Joes(which really should be the first step if we’re to see any major adoption), managing identities seamlessly across multi-chains and all in all providing users with web2 based simplicity, with the level of decentralization expected from web3.
Some notable projects working on ensuring everyone gets a feel of the future of the internet are;
Litentry, a decentralized identity aggregator that enables linking user identities across multiple networks. What litentry does is to provide a secure vehicle through which users manage their identities and dApps obtain real-time DID data of an identity owner across different blockchains. The project is also tackling the problem of the current Web2 services which violates user data rights and breaches privacy. It re-builds the order of user data usage in the web, in which users get to control who can access their data without revealing their original identities, and service providers provide users with targeted services based on the personal data authorized by users.

Ore Network: ORE network is an identity management protocol, and it helps to bridge the gap between web2 and web3 allowing users to authenticate their web3 presence with web2 identities connected on multiple blockchains. That’s as easy as it gets, getting started with web2 logins like Google and Facebook without giving out any data. The project clearly is helping the onboarding process and making sure anyone and everyone gets access to the technology.
